WTB 96-99 Two Door Two Wheel Tahoe

Looking for the perfect candidate for a E Rod LS3/6l80e swap that I have been thinking of doing. You know the story: low miles, perfect condition, orignal owner, etc., etc., etc. Prefer barn doors, and lighter colors, but black is ok as long as it is in excellent shape. Mods are ok as long as they are either removable or mild; no bags or similar extensive frame mods. I am just too old for that stuff. I just want to do the truck my way and don't want to pay for something isn't consistent with what I am looking to do.

Willing to pay for the right truck. Located on the west coast so that would be a plus if it was local. Any leads will be followed up. Love the two door Tahoes! Thanks to all.

Check out www.texasmotorcars.com. I don't work for them, but I have bought a truck from them in the past. I actually bought my 99 Suburban there. Excellent company to work with. They also deal on EBAY quite a bit. They have what appears to be a pristine 96 two door Tahoe.

I did see that one and it is pretty clean. Black wouldn't be my first choice but it is in good shape.

I have pretty much seen everything on the internet. What I was hoping for was a forum member who had or knew of one that wasn't out on the market yet.
