    Stock

Even stock TBI 350 engines will benifit from a set of Comp 981 springs or similar.

I put a compcams 479"/480" lift cam in my 5.7 tbi with a set of compcams springs and wow what a gain, if you going to change the cam spend another 100.00 and get the bigger cam and springs. But beware with this cam you will need a custom chip but if you want performance you might as well do it at once instead of buying a small cam now and then replacing it later with a big one. I think the max lift is somewhere in the 400-430 range. I may be wrong but that sounds about right from what I have heard.

springs are old and probally way weak to fully support a bigger cam but if they were in good shape if say somewhere in the .460 range with the 981 comp cams ones your good till .490-.500
