I have been looking at these drivers for a while now, and decided to call up RE today, in which I can get them for $56ea shipped, which is a great price for what they are capable of (capable on paper atleast).

I think im gonna pick up 4 of them for the girls ex-cab... just waiting for an email response from VisionaryAudio.com to see if they are any cheaper than what RE quoted me.

I have no experience with them, but for the price I'd say go for it! Keep us updated, because if you like them, it might be something I'd have to look into

Faint - Damn, didnt you want to get those Pioneers "just to play with too?" Thas so krazy! You guys change equip like you change your damn underwear, but I have to confess, I do the same thing. I think within 6 months I went through 3 sets of components (CDT...ID Chameleons...DynAudio 240gts), and now I am thinking of trying out some new amps (DLS Ultimate A3) to replace my current Arc Amps.

Yes, I change audio like I do my underwear.

Withing the past year, I have ran PG tantrum amps, Alpine V12 amps, JL amps, Xtant amps, and am now with the DLS ultimate amps. Subs... I have had eD "a" series and "k" series , IDMAX's, IDQ's, Brahma, Alpine type-r's, MTX thunder 8000's and... thats it that I can think of. For comps, I have had JL XR's, CDT "HD" and "euro" series, and now the DLS iridiums... HU's, I have had the Pioneer P9300 / P9400, and the Alpine 9813 / 9815. Gonna order the premier P960MP in a few days here.

Thats only within this past year I do have the car and the truck though!

Please do. I am a mod at a very active audio forum in which I'm sure I can round up quite a few sells.

I did send RE an email...

I sort of went through the same phase:

*When I was in late Jr High and early High School (1987-1990), I collected sports cards, I have like 10,000 or so sitting in these cardboard card boxes. I am just waiting to get a Beckett to price them and get rid of them.

*Then in early High School, well into my college days, I collected the G-strings of every girl I tagged. Was thinking of selling those too....interested in buying some?

My favorites are the e12a's and the IDMAX. All 3 of my Brahma's had lead slap, which didn't cut it for an SQ install since it was very noticable in the hatch (RSX-S). Even then, they were to laid back, in which I didn't like them tonality wise. The e12a's and the IDMAX's are more aggressive and in your face

I have thousands and thousands of comic books and comic cards from back in 4th & 5th grade (early 90's). Wonder if they are worth anything yet

you mustve had all first generation brahmas then...the new ones have fixed that...im getting mine this september
    cant wait
how did you like the w7s?
ive heard the ID maxes and the w7s and the brahmas...my favorite was the brahmas, followed in close 2nd by the maxes, then the last was the w7 in a box made by JL running off a 1000/1
so i kind of count the fact that it was "the install" that made the brahma and max sound better...they were all in trunks of similar sized cars

The brahma's were not the newest version out now, but indeed were the version where the slap was supposably fixed. Each brahma Dan sent me got better and better, but all had noticable lead slap. The first one I received was horrible

As for the W7... I like it, but like the e12a's and IDMAX's better tonality wise. The W7 has that distinct JL tonality in which I have never cared for. It's hard to explain. Not aggressive and snappy in your face like the e12a and IDMAX.
