Gonna have to sell my pioneer as I am not going to be putting it in my new truck because of all the hassles....this radio was worth around 800 bucks, what would I be able to get out of it now, maybe 450? Anyone interested?

I also have the XM tuner unit that goes with it I would sell for maybe 75 bucks?

Being that the P960MP can be had for $400 shipped brand new, and it has more features, you will probably have to sell it for less than you are willing. Might consider keeping it.

The Premier P960MP can be had all day long on ebay from reputable sellers for under $400 shipped. My local shop will sell it for that price as well.

The P940*MP is more when doing a search since it had a much higher retail price, but no one will buy it since they can get the new models with more features for cheaper. I had a very hard time selling my P9400MP back before the newer models were released, in which I am sure you will have a harder time than I did.

Never know till you try though... You might sell it easily for $400-$450!

wonder what a pawn shop would give....

i am not doubting you, i just didnt see it when i searched...i dont have any use for it anymore since my new rig has a dvd player and the steering controls built in, i dont fee like losing any of that...

only thing i will miss is playing mp3's,why dont the new radios play mp3's? wtf

I have one too for sale, I really thought I could get around $400 for it. After reading this I might just keep it for my next ride.

Not necessarily... could have just been fixed using all existing parts! It could have never been used in the first place, and just had a physical blimish that didn't pass QC!

Crap, I just called pioneer and the told me the head unit has to be 2003 or newer to get 16 chars + scrolling.

People are selling those units pretty cheap on ebay. I will PM you about a price.

    Thanks,
    Dave
