04 GMC
system in the works:
Pioneer DEH-940MP, RF T8002 on Peerless XLS 8" midbasses, RF T8004 on DLS Iridium 3" midrange and tweeter, RF T40001 on 2 Adire Brahma 12s, RF 360.2º processor

I just got xm too.. hooked it up just like that above the 3rd brake light. Havent noticed any leaking yet. I must say that I'm not that impressed with the SQ of XM. It sounds like a 96kbps MP3![]()
are you using a direct connection or FM modulator?
direct connector. its the pioneer 900xm or something. i havent really listened to all the channels yet, but the couple i tuned to sound very compressed.
What kind of headunit do you have?Originally Posted by deltron
I am throroughly impressed with the direct-connected Commander even through my old Kenwood. I really like it with my wife's Alpine!
And no leakage on my antenna after almost a year.
it sounded awful on my g/f ford through direct connect.....used the hardwired fm modulator sound great now......this was on a sky fi.......ps i love my xm

Your HU has an AI-net port. All you need is to buy the adapter, same one as on my wife's Alpine, and enable your AUX through the menu. That's it.Originally Posted by nebraskaz71

You can also use the m-bus adapter, you just won't be able to add a changer too.
