box for RE 10s

I found a guy here in my town that builds boxes and from what Ive heard from people he is badass.

So, I was going to post these demensions here and see what you guys think about it and if it would work ok before I give him a call.

I found this diagram in the box forum. Its TribalVision's diagram so props to him!

I will be running 2 Resonant Engineering RE 10s. I want the box to be behind my seat of my single cab and I would like for it to be ported. The subs both require ~1cuft of airspace for ported boxes. So this box, even tho its for 2 12s, should be good to use for my 10s. Correct? And all he would have to do is just add a port without making the box any bigger than what it is. Correct?

Also, Im skeptical about how well this would fit behind my seat. I went and measured and I can get 10.5 inches on the bottom with my seat all the way forward. But in his thread, he built the box for a guy who was 6'10. I just dont get it.............
Its in the OBS forum and I too have an OBS truck.
