I just bought a little pioneer system so i could play CD's. It came with two speakers 6x9. They are not round like my stock speakers in the door panel. Is it an easy mod to put these speakers in? I dont want them flush i kind of want them to stick out of the door. Im just confused about this part i guess any help would be great (or pics) Thanks

    Re: Speakers too big?

the speakers mount to the metal door, Im sure you could do it, not sure if it is worth it. Someone else needs to chime in because if it is worth it I may do it instead of getting components since I dont want all the added benifits of components...but want the benifits of a larger, more bass ready speaker...

you can do it, as in it is possible. there are also 7 x 10's and 8" coaxles for you "boomers". it's up to you if it's worth it. there are some pretty decent 6 x 9's these days. still a bunch of crappy one's too.

    Here are pics of system

Here are some pictures of the system I bought ( not including the mounting hardware). Mos Def probably not the best but It will get the job done for what I want. The pictures are only of the Speakers and HeadUnit.
