Sup guys, almost time to buy a in-dash for my truck ! Just wondering opinions or anything new bein' released b4 I spend $1500+ on a in dash. Since this was released on how to bypass the n-2 Ive been checkin' em out: http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/sho...712post10956712 . Anyone tried that yet? Seems pretty tight if it unlocks everything ! I like Alpines buttons but thats about it. Who has the best motors, options and displays too? I was lookin at the Pioneer 7500 but its like $2k + and doesnt have Navi. Since that mod for the AVIC N-2 voids my warranty with Pioneer should I just buy it online? Thanx!

Check out Kenwood . They have a really nice flipout screen that you can add navi to . I just put a Clarion VRX755VD screen in my truck . Great screen . I'm hoping Clarion comes out with a navi. unit to add to it soon .
Check out my truck in the July 09 Sport Truck Magazine in the home grown haulers section

i think i might end up getting the Pio 7600 eventually, you can always add on navigation. But then again i can get it through accomadations for below cost, so thats mainly why. Otherwise I probably wouldnt have an indash. But the N2 is very good. Have you looked a the D1? Thats another possibility you could go with. I would only go with Pioneer for in-dash units. I only know of 1 thats has had problems.

That mod does work, weve tried it before. There was a thread on here about it not too long ago

Re: Opinions on In Dash TV for my 01'? Pioneer AVIC N2 Mod?

Well guys I dont think I wanna trim my dash for a double din so back to flip outs. ANymore opinions alpine tv vs. pioneer avic N-2? Will I have that much noticable sound difference? Are the Alpine CVA-1014, IVA-D901 and IVA-D310 all navi compataible? Also AVIC N-2s on EBAY are around $1300, if I was to do the solder mod on it that would void the warranty. What if I buy it in store and buy the Circuit City protection plan tho: http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Pione...oductDetail.do . If I buy it and somethin happens in a year do I still get a new one? Hmmmmm......Any word on new models? Havent priced ALpine yet. 4 year plan at Best Buy is $79.99 and deck is $1999 b4 $300 mail in rebates.
