Hey everybody! Up until now I've always ran 12" subs in my trucks, but now with my new truck CCSB/HD I dont have any room for 12's. A local car audio place is gonna do my system, they wanna run an Alpine deck, cant remember the brand of door speakers, and four kicker L7 8" subs ran off of a 2000 watt amp.
I havent heard many systems with 8's, so I was wondering how hard will these baby's pound?

You will be happy if and only if they build the box to the right specs. Ive done quite a few L7 8" enclosures (vented) and they sound very good with tons of output. Most folks cant believe their eyes when they see the lil subs making all that sound.

I agree with TWKTCC..... it's all in the build! Those 8" L7's will put out quite a bit of sound!
