This question is for the 88-98 Ext Cab guys with systems in their trucks. I've got my amps now mounted under the back seat but they are getting waaaay too hot. My sub amp is now going into thermal protection after about 30 minutes of bumpin. Anyway I was wondering how yall mounted your amps to the back wall. I know it is single panel so I don't want to just put some screws through it. I did this with my old S-10 but that was a beater anyway and I really didn't care about that truck. Anyway I was thinking of epoxying bolts to the back wall and then using those to bolt up the amps. I just wanna know how you guys have yours mounted so I can figure out what to do with mine.

the stereo shop epoxy-ed a board on the backwall, then screwed the amp into that. that seemed to work fine, but now i have my amps under the rear seat cause i got tired of having to remove the rear seat to adjust anything with the amp.

sounds good to me. The amps were fine when it was only 70 outside but for some reason they overheat really fast when its 98 degrees outside.
