I am running Alpine series S 6.5" components. I have a few questions for you guys... I have em in the factory locations right now. Down low on the door. and in the tweeter pod in front of the window switches shooting straight up. Should I fab up some Kick pods for the 6.5s and then make some pods for the A pillar. If I do that what direction should the tweets point? Into the windshield or back at me? Im pretty new to the whole system thing....
    Thanks!!!
1996 ECSB 4x4 Nice system and can go where I want it too... Yes I like lights!

Buckle up, I wanna try somethin...

Mine point tword the window and I hate it. The reflections off the glass are terrible. I will be making some angled pods here soon.

Well I have in the past... I can weld, have 5K in woodworking tools, and a pretty nice tool box. Have never paid anyone to do anything for me. Yeah I can do anything with my hands....
I can give ya a hand with stuff if you have the place to do it. My ex-wife has the house and garage.... LOL....
So far it looks like pointing the tweeters towards me is the way to go. Im thinking of covering the pods with vinyl.

Hey P379XL, do you have any photos on how you made your kick panels? I ask because I like how they look.
Selling my 2003 2500HD on 38s and 24s. Auction ends on 12/28, bid now.
