I have 3 MTX 5500 DVC 8's in a vented enclosure. I was hesitant at first. I didn't think I could get the output I wanted from 8" subs, but this thing pounds!

That is a clean install. I also want to know who made that box.
It was made by Noise Audio in Phoenix. It is ported on both sides, just above that little ledge.Originally Posted by silverado2nv

thats crazy come buy the roadshop at circuit city im the installation manager there id like to check it out
I went by there today (Sunday), but they said you were off. I'll swing by sometime this week.
i live in cc post some pix i wanna check it out. i just bought an 05' crew cab and im looking at my options at what kind of boxes i can fit in there. i had 2 12" in my other single cab truck but obviously i wont be able to put these subs in my current truck. even though they are fairly new i will have to part with them. anyone interested:: they are 2 12" audiobahn 700 watts RMS 1400 peak in a sealed wedge box. the amp i had on them was only gettig them about 125 watts a piece and they pounded like no tomorrow i loved them but now i must part ways with them.
