Hi Everyone,
I'm looking for ideas on where to hide an amplifier in my Tahoe. It can't be in the open as we use it alot for traveling. My first choice is under the 2nd row passenger seat? Would like to leave 2nd row drivers side open for maybe future expansion. My problem is no amps I can find fit between the seat floor brackets. So is it common to build a base first then add the amp? If anyone has gone through this before any suggestions would be great. Have gone to a few instalers and am not to confident in their abilities to do it correctly and also it is friggin expensive!!!! Would rather do it myself to avoid anyproblems.
Any tips on removing the door kickplates and surrounding trim?
Here is also what I've done so far..
H.U.: Pioneer DEH-P3800MP, Ipod in the Aux input
Front/Rear Speakers: Infinity Reference 6012SI 6.5"
Sound Deading Fr/Rr Doors: Second Skin "Damplifier" 40sq.ft
I am very pleased so far with the results, but need to kick it up a notch.
Thanks , and what a great site for info
