Sorry, but that would be nice to have! I paid 157.00 yesterday for one year of service with xm. It seems like they are getting more expensive every year.

One time I let it expire and it stayed on for like 6 more months. That was pretty cool, just let it go and see how long it stays on.

You guys have been hitting it lucky then. eventually you will get the lovely "call 1-888-sirius to subscribe" It has happened to me twice, so now I simply pay it,because its worth it to me anyhow.

However, it usually takes them 8 months or so before the "sweep" their system. They apparently haven't caught up to direct Tv, who i used to install for, who does it like every 2 months.

    continued good luck guys!

I agree. I have a Starmate 2, Starmate 4, and an S50 that have been running for months now. Just let it go and consider each month you get $12 in your pocket.

    Just noticed this-

    http://investor.sirius.com/ReleaseDe...&cat=&newsroom

I wonder if you can choose 100 and 101 in an A La Carte package?

If so, I'll take those along with 32 and that Backspin channel (that makes me laugh my balls off with their old-school stuff) for $6.95.

I'd be careful with just letting the service run. I thought the same thing with XM when mine expired about 4 months ago and then I got a bill in the mail saying that I owed X amount of money. I called them and they said that the customer has to call and cancel the service and they will not cancel it until the customer does so. And they expected payment of the service or they would take legal action. Talk about a joke.

    I didn't realize that...

All my units came off ebay already with active service, so I guess that's something to think about when you pay for an account you own. First I've heard of anybody being back-charged.

Some *******s broke into my wife old Expedition almost two years ago and stole the Nexus XM radio from it.

I bought a Pioneer Inno from Ebay very cheap and it arrived with active service. I never called XM since I wanted to see how long it would work without calling. Still going on.

Our old XM rep at our store was cool as hell and knew he was about to get laid off after the whole merger, so me, my supervisor, and both my installers got XM and he cut the service on for us... forever. and didnt have to pay a penny haha.
