Theres no way you can trim enough to fit a DD without completely removing the bottom piece of the bezel.
Even then your air unit wont fit.

K i used the search button but everyone seems to be using the bucket and bezel from an 03'? I dont really have access to those right now and prefer not to use the 03 bezel since it hangs down anyways. Can I just trim my bezel? What about my bucket if I trim can I still get it to clip and lock in place like the factory h/u? What has to be done? Thx Cant wait for my Alpine 505!

You can fit a double din. You don't HAVE to move the HVAC controls but it looks better if you do.
