Kicker CVX or L5?

Hey guys. After havin blown a couple CVR's over the last year i have decided to upgrade my sub. I just cant decide on a CVX 10 or a L5 10. Which would sound better in a regular cab? I'm lookin for SQ and loudness, but leanin more towards SQ.
The sub would be a box thats roughly 1 Ft^3 sealed.

that amp will only be able to push one 10inch L5, so if thats the amp you HAVE TO use, then your kinda stuck with that.

There has never been a square sub that has ever had better sq then round...square subs are designed for output spl

errr, sorry, 90% of the SQ awards we have won, were with square ones...any subwoofer is designed for 'output'.

anyway, 1.3 sealed, CVX hands down.

thats the amp i have, and i cant afford to buy another amp and sub right now.
and i forgot to add that the sub will be a 10.

yea i currently have a 10 inch CVR that is crappin out on me. i have had a couple other CVRs crap out too. can they not take the rated watts? But yea im lookin to upgrade to a better sub, either a 10 CVX or a 10 L5. which would you recommend in a regular cab with a box thats approx. 1 FT^3?

yep, that amp is fine, CVX's just do better in smaller sealed than the L5, or L7 would...they come alive in larger ported boxes.

polecat you will have to decide one way or the other, cause when i was buying you said that your round subs are better sq and the squares are more spl.
--so either you game me wrong info or to him.. anyways not mad just was resaying what you told me at one point

anyways iwannass i have 2 cvx 12s and like them but could never get them to sound good sealed. i ported both at 2.5cuft plus port and love them like that.
