Which amp for Dayton H.O.'s?

Ok heres the deal, im going to be purchasing 2 10" Dayton HO's to run in the NNBS crewcab subthump box.

What would be a good amp to push these subs? Im relatively new to car audio, so any input would be great. Lookin to spend around $300 give or take on an amp.

I listen to a lot of different music, Rap, rock, country etc. Im looking for good SQ but i also dont want to be let down by the loudness. (grammar > me) haha

Im open to any opinions on other drivers as well, because i havent purchased anything yet. Maybe dayton 12's would be better??

Sub bass is Sub bass. Just put recommended power to them that fits your budget.

An Audioque 2200 will give you power at 2 ohms and will be flexible for any changes you decide to make within that power. Its $389 on the site but you would have a very nice amp.

What would be a better option?

I worked for a cabinet shop for a few years and built quite a few sub boxes in the past, so im definately capeable of fabbing somethin up. But i have no idea where to start to get the most out of these subs.

Any input??

.6-.7 ported per sub, and those babies will hold a very nice SQ, yet they're still quite loud. I've had a 10" in enclosures from .3 to 1.1 ft^3, and it's performed great in all.

My vote: Build your own.

Alright, im sure i could do it. Im just not sure how to build ported enclosures. As far as port length/width, placement??? thats where i get lost. Its not the hands on labor im worried about, but designing the box to the proper specs.
