well youre not sending an audio signal to the amp or you dont have the amp turn on wired up. do you have the amp turn on wire connected.just wire it up to the amp turn on.. if youre using the basic harness youre gonna get some background noise in if you do integrate.. If you notice you prolly lost your door chime as well to let you know your key is in the ignition.. I know you may not wanna buy the other harness cuase i sure as hell wouldnt want to either.. but its gonna be your best bet. it would make your installation easier and youre not gonna have any background amp noises

did you connect the factory remote wire to the new HU? If not or you dont know where it is find the amp or amps for the speakers, there should be a remote wire for the amps take them and wire them to a fuse that only is in use when the key is turned and that should take care of the amps turning on and off. As takethisride metioned make sure the amp turn on is switched to on in the head unit if it has it.

You dont have speaker wires at that harness. The only way to integrate is pull up the black cup holder you have where your center console is. Theres a huge black plug under it that has all your amplifier wiring. You will have to find, cut and splice into the output side of the amp and run it to the back of your radio.

You WILL lose door chimes, RAP, and your factory subwoofer by doing this.

the pink wire in the factory harness will need to be connected to the headunit's amp turn on. its a 50/50 chance. sometimes the amp will turn, sometimes it will not. if you can't get it to work that way, you will have to do what is stated in the post above.
