2006 silverado crew cab w/stock Bose 6 disc changer stock speakers I only added a Rockford fosgate punch 75 and 2 clarion 10s
It sounds really good but I'd like a crisper sound and I do not want to change the headunit. I like the stock 6disc and thieves wouldn't want to jack a stock hu.
What do u recommend I replace I want a crisp sound. What type of speakers should I get?? I love the tweeters I play alot of songs with alot of highs

If you want people to take you seriously I wouldnt have picked that user name, haha but anyway.
On to the subject, you need to deaden your front doors, add a component set and amp them. And bravo you wll have a crisp and loud front stage.
You will also need a line output converter. But you can only get go crisp with the stock HU, if you upgraded it you will get more out of the listening experience from your component set.

i would use an oem interface like a rockford 3sixty.2 or jl clean sweep then add components and amps.
can u guys tell me the size of the speakers??
6.5 front and back
will 7in fit in the front doors?
and i went with components up front and co ax's in the back but if you dont have people ride with you i would just spend money on the fronts. i usually have the rears faded pretty bad when im alone

You have 6.5" in the front doors. you really need to look into deadening first before anything. the improvement it huge. RaamMat is good stuff for the price. and seal your doors with roof flashing b4 you put on the deadener. As for a component set a good set if money isnt an issue is the c720prs by Pioneer Premeir. run like 300 a set. They have been known to play low compared to others. Or another good set is Polk Audio not the db line, i forgot the name. They run around $180, they are bright and crystal clear. But really its all up to your listening tastes, visit audio shops and listen around. Make sure you mount the mid driver onto a baffle as well. and for the PRS set you should look into an amp that pushes 120wrms per channel. and for the other set i mentioned, 100wrms is fine. But make sure these numbers are at the 4 ohm rated power, because most likely thats the load you will be running your amp at for mids and highs. And a processor should help too since you want to run the stock hu.
