    04 Silverado rear pillar speaker size mod?

    I'm not new to installing sound systems by any means, but I am new at installing them in these trucks.
    But to the point...
    Can the factory rear pillars be easily modified to accept a 6x9 instead of the 4x6?
    Truck in question is an 04 Silverado Single Cab.

    Sure, but dont waste your time. ESPECIALLY in a single cab, im not one for rear fill

    Exactly, a good set of componenets up front will sound a whole lot better than wasting your time to put 6x9s in the rear pillars.
