Well, i built a Amp Rack for my Sub Amp (300W Pioneer not sure of model) I built it out of 1x4 and a piece of plywood, and blue carpet that i sprayed with dye left from my Seats. This is the first Amp Rack or any Stereo "Box" i have ever built. I dont think i did too bad! Don't laugh I had EVERYTHING just lying around so i didn't spend any $$$$!
I need to upgrade the amp! The sub is rated at 500W RMS and my amp is 300W (MAX?) what would you guys recommend?
Onto to the clips, took with my phone so they suck!![]()

I still have holes in the back of the cab from the amp being screwed init though![]()
get some silicon and seal them before it rusts.
I assume your looking for a mono block?

what is the Voice coil configuration? and how do you have it wired?
its single VC if you only have 2 posts off the sub, its dual VC if you have 4 posts off the sub. it should be marked what the impedence is.

and its 4ohms
ok. so you need an amp that does 500 rms at 2 ohms mono. your going to wire the VC in parallel and only have 1 channel to power them rather than bridge it.

Thanks man!Originally Posted by TheMaroonBaboon
your LPF should be on for subs, if not your running the risk of slagging a VC.
