amp in center console

I have a 2000 silverado,would under the front center console(remote tape or cd location)be a good place for a amp?The back is wide open and vents could be put in the sides.Anyone put one there yet?

I had one there for a while. No problems putting it there.

I wouldn't think that you would have any problems with it there. People put them behind the seats all the time and I would think there is less air flowing there then under the dash. Just make sure that it can't be seen through the windows so some ass clown doesn't try and steal it.

Yeah,it wont be visable at all,wish the sub could be hidden that easy.

yeah that would be nice, about the only way you can do that is to put them under the seats
