Garmin EcoRoute HD

This showed up at the Consumer Electronics Show if anybody follows that. I know with a scanner you can plug into the OBD port and monitor engine parameters,but this wireless dongle plugs into it and then relays via bluetooth to a gps or phone. I looked at it, like the real time feedback it provides but it only works in conjunction with a Garmin Nuvi...if I could bluetooth it to the D3 or another device I would own one. Otherwise...No need to buy a new GPS device just for this, makes it too much of an investment for the info.
