Swapped the factory headunit in the Tahoe with one I had from another GM truck. Searched around and found a few threads on how to retrieve the code and call a 1-800 number for a new code. Problem is, the first step (press and hold presets 2 & 3) isn't working for me. Nothing happens. What am I doing wrong? The new head unit is from an 06 truck if that matters.
