this last weekend i tore the dash out of my 05. obviously this requires unplugging my alarm from the truck. now thats its back together the truck doesnt idle right. it idles at about 500 rpm and fluctuates like im giving it throttle. i guess my question is since it have remote start and whatnot could the alarm be causing this problem because it needs to be reprogrammed? thanks in advance

Is it only doing this when you remote start the truck, or does it do this when you start the truck normally with the key? I've never seen a remote start install effect idle, but that doesn't mean much coming from me, I work in FL and might do 10 remote starts per year.
