Is there anyway to get it through without drilling a hole? If not where do you get the two things in the picture

What size cable are you running and what truck are you working on?

You can get the step drill bit at most hardware stores and the grommets @ an auto parts shop, usually have a variety of sizes

maybe someone will chime in if there is a hole in the firewall already, but i'm guessing you'd have to drill it.

There is a round flat spot on the drivers side firewall that looks like something was designed to go there. It is about 2" in diameter. Your truck may have something there but mine didn't. I ran several cables through it for emergency warning lights, 2 way radio power and coax cable. I will see if I can scrape up a picture of it when I am on my computer.

It's in the wrong place for a clutch pedal. It is actually to the left of the accelerator looking from the front. I won't say that it is not for a clutch, but I doubt that it is. It looks more like where a harness would pass through.

the guy who did my wiring wired it up through the door and under the hood and across the fender lip where it bolts onto side of truck (looking from top) and you couldnt even tell from outside or inside of truck unless door was open

Run it to the corner of the driver engine bay, down to the grommet that is between the door and frame. Cut a slit in the rubber and run the wire into the cab from there. Then you can pop off the trim pieces on the floor and route it all the way back to wherever you have the amps located. I have a 0 gauge wire plus two sets of 16 gauge wire ran through there so it's definitely big enough
