Have any of you guys have or have heard of anyone putting in a spacer to lift the rear seat by 1"? I was measuring the rear seat and I think I can fab up a spacer to fit where the seat frame bolts down to the cab, which would give me the 1" space I need to build the box I want (down-firing). Is this possible? Thanks

    Some members have done that.
I would be careful in your choice of material so the seat stays secure in the event of a collison with passengers back there.

I plan on using steel when I fab the spacer, so the strength will be there.
