I have a 69 and might eventually bag it. It doesn't seem to difficult since I have coil springs all around. Where do you buy your mounting cups for the front and rear bags? On the rear how do they bolt up?

I will be bagging a 70 here very soon. The parts needed are pretty simple. I'd be happy to build you copies of all the brackets I build when I do my setup.

You just need cups and plates for the front, and a plate for the top and bottom of the trailing arm that goes where the original coil goes. The airbag mounts to these plates.

    Re: Anybody with Bagged 67-72 C10's ?

chevy8869- they have the messageboard at 67-72chevytrucks.com and you can find alot of pictures about w/e you lookin for...I know thats where my brother goes alot and I'm not sure of his username but you could find more pics of his truck on there...I know he has pics of his bag install somewheres. Its real simple and depending on how low you want to go you either run a big plate in the front under the spring perches and a cup in the lower control arms or you run cups on the top and bottom...cups on the top and bottom will make you alot lower than the plate/cup so you may not need to run 2 inch dropped spindals..but then you run into other problems the front of these truck are notorious for having..I'm sure you already know that you need to section the crossmember on it or raise the whole part of the frame that attaches to the crossmember to get it to lay flat on the rails..but again I don't know how flat and low you want to be..so if you can tell me somemore about what your looking to do I can help ya out..

not lookin to lay all the way just have control on lifting and lowering it when I need to. I am really looking for what to do on the rear setup because my truck has coil springs in the rear and where do you get the plates or cups to mount them to the trailing arms?

You can make your own plates quite easily, but I believe that Air Lift sells the plates you need to mount a bag in place of the coil spring in the rear.

yea the bottom plate is just a circle of sheet with a hole in the middle..and the top is a short cup that allows you to rub the airline out of the bag via an elboe and straight out the side of the cup. The rear cup is maybe 1 inch tall at most.

Here'smy burb as well as a C10 i painted for contrast. He is runnin bolt on kit form Airride Tech mine is all custom with dropped crossmember, raised tranny and driveline members, runnin upper plates with no lower cups on front, BIG notch, boxed trailing arms, and 2600 pound bags all the way around. Also runnin 2.5" spindles on both trucks. Mine lays frame and the pinchweld is 1/4" off ground with no bodydrop.
