Nice truck! What grill do you have going on there? I like it. How much body work did you have to do? It looks rust free to me.

    Re: 81-87 chevy fullsize pics

Hi all...I am new to this site. I just wanted to add my truck to the mix.
This truck is a Frankenstein, the VIN number says '73 1/2 ton, but it has 3/4 or 1 ton axles on it (not sure which), the drive train is 350/TH350/NP203, with a 14 bolt rear end,and dana 44 up front. The fenders are off a '75 or newer truck, because the badges say Silverado K30. What I have done to it so far, changed the oil, added a new filter, and battery, and put in a new distributor, cap, rotor, wires, and plugs. My plans include: fixing all of the leaks (this poor old truck leaks like a sieve), new brake lines, new e-brake cables (none on it now), new shocks, and rebuild the steering if needed. Once she starts running good, I have to adjust the t-case linkage (not a 4x4 right now). Needless to say I have a lot of work to do, but my overall plan is to get this truck looking sweet.
photos of the beast can be seen here:

Here's my '86 C-10 Silverado. Still have quite a bit to do to it including getting a new bed since my neighbor decided to hit it while it was parked in front of my house....

this is my 84 k10 its has a 4inch lift, 32". this is when i bought it.

look rockstar mine got the same beauty mark.

This is how its setting now. I bought a 3inch body lift and some tripple roll bars with double kick downs. Im hopein it will look some what like the truck from "varsity blues"

Ha Ha... with the financial hole I'm digging to get this conversion finished, I should've kept stock. Oh well. I'm nearly finished on the motor swap. Just gotta get exhaust & gauges. Don't have a money tree, so this'll be slow.
