Big haul!

Went over to a buddy's place yesterday a.m. with my '86 GMC C1500 and my handy dandy engine hoist to pull a 350 out of a '82 Chevy tow truck he was junking. For helping, I got 2 new doors with nice stainless trailer mirrors and a new bench seat, all in great shape, plus a slider rear window that has seen better days, but may be salvagable. Got a nearly new 3 core radiator (maybe 3 months old and hardly run) to replace my poor old radiator with a weeping top tank, plus a newly surfaced flywheel and nearly new clutch and pressure plate. Got a big rotating warning lite, and a bunch of other little stuff I needed. Did okay!

One of my kids just junked his daily driver, and is borrowing my truck while he looks for something cheap to buy. He's got a week...

Heck, we used to live in NH, WA, OH, WY, WI, and VT. Oldest boy was born in NY, middle one in OH, "baby" (now 22) in CO. I am not gonna say I'm not moving again, but I sure as heck am thinkin it!
