Its a 72 lwb. 302/c4 combo. 9inch rear.... Straight body. Paint is 2 years old. Motor has 25,000 on it. And i only paid 1,500 bucks!

But this in NO way makes me a Ford man! CHEVY for life

Oh, almost forgot, a fresh AIM request from my ex (owner of a lifted '77 F150 and a '77 El Camino SS) - do you have more pics of that truck?

all the pics I've got for now... Sadly, i had to park her outside. We're getting busy here at the shop and i cant take up any more space.

Cool thing is, it sat for 6 months without being started, and when i went to pick it up it just needed a jump and a shot of b12 down the throat. I need to rebuild the carb, but my parts guy has been to busy to pickup the rebuild kit. Glad you guys like it. I love it, and my wife wants to sell her daily driver so she can drive this! I told her no way! No ABS, no power brakes, and 4 wheel drums... Not a chance she'll drive it more than on weekends. LOL... I'm just looking out for her safety...

    Nice truck. A 302 and a C4 is a very modifiable combination.
I'm a Chevy guy, but that doesn't mean I don't appreciate Fords - my best friends are Ford guys, and they get some pretty impressive performance out of their 302s, 347s, and 408s, and they all use C4s. Somehow I can't convince any of them to build a 460.

yeah, i've got a pair of 460's. i wanted to piece together one, and drop it in there.... but no.... My wife wont let me mod the poor ford! She says that i have my chevy to play with, and i have to leave her truck alone! LOL.... women!

So my goal is to restore it to the absolute original. Funny thing is a guy offered me 3 grand for it like it sits! He said he would sale his 41 chevy for $10,000 and spend all of it on the ford! I had to tell him no... He would have to ask the wifey. She just laughed!

I'm glad you guys are so open minded. I posted on a ford forum and told them i owned a chevy... They almost lynched me for cussing! Said the chevy word was a sin. Crazy ford people! haha... whatever turns yer crank

Michelle (the aforementioned ex) has a 460 in her truck, with a C6 tranny and a manual valve body that thing does burnouts with all 4 wheels, and mind you it's 44" or 45" tires she rolls on - I want that engine so bad, but no way I could live with it's thirst for gas (12mpg freeway, vs. 22+ for my 302).

You got the wrong forum bro, I always ask my questions about the Chevy both here and over at GMN, and them Ford guys always try to help as much as they can. We also get Dodge owners, and European vehicles too, it's quite the laid-back place really.

Ive had both Chevy and Ford trucks and I love them both. They are both easy to work on and parts are pretty cheap.

Let me start by saying that I too am a Chevy guy but I do appreciate any nicely done truck. Attached are a few photos of a local truck. It was a feature in StreetTrucks mag and can also be seen on Gauge.com this month.

This truck was powered by a Ford big block.
    Good luck with your project.

only a frickin Okie would have one of them old Fords - I had a 68 F100 with a three on the tree and a straight six...252 I think??? -
Great truck - had the spare fuel tank under the driver side wheelwell...That truck got abused and still took me from a to b reliably - sold it and bought an engagement ring 20 yrs ago...still got the girl!!! Wonder sometimes if the trade was good... Think so...
