Tire Size..and I searched...but..

...I was unable to find anything really pertaining to the classics, I have a 77 4x4 that I'm restoring and would like to kinda keep it stock looking, this truck really needs wheels and have a friend that has a set of 33's that I can pick up really cheap...

my question is will these fit without a lift and without trimming the fenders?

yes it will work they will just rub on tight turns

it will rub the springs. not much you realy can do maybe drop to some 31s they dont rub at full lock, 32s might not be as bad

i've got 33s on stock BS wheels, and have had them on several other trucks, never had a problem.

another thing, there are 33s and 33s - my 33s are actually 31" in diameter, wheres my 32s are actually 30.5" in diameter - I say run the 33s, if you hear rub at full lock then just back the wheel off a bit, you ain't supposed to be turning at full lock anyways, tis bad for the PS pump

Got 33s on my stock K5 no rubbing no problems.

Sorry, was away on vacation..2 weeks off,great fun. Anyway, thanks for all the tips, I think I will look for a set of 31's.

I liveout in Forest Grove, and no last name does not start with R...
