    Re: wiring diagram

any thing at all eh, do you have a battery installed in the truck? if yes go to step 2
    step 2:
    tools needed - volt meter
start by following the battery cable to the starter and measure and see if you get battery voltage there.. keep going till you get to the bulkhead connector. if you get power all the way to the bulkhead connector, do a voltage drop on the power and ground side of everything you just measured.

does anything work/turn on in the truck? is the ground cable connected, is the power cable connected, was it working before you did something what did it do before the problem. seriously we need more information. if i were you i would go buy a chilton or something like it for 15 bucks at the autoparts store, they have wiring diagrams in the back of the book.

    Re: wiring diagram

quote from previous post.....was it working before you did something what did it do before the problem???
so said "i thought i got it wired right" ??????? what did you do exactly. your not explaining everything in your responces which makes helping you quite difficult.
so its not cranking right. to start, check the small purple wire on the starter's solenoid, its the smaller possibly 12gauge wire for power while CRANKING. if you dont get power there, test the igintion switch's purple wire while cranking. you should get battery voltage. post up with your findings

when i got the truck the wiring was all dicked up they were all cut up i got a manuel and wired it correctly to how it said in the manuel and its still not cranking over i dont get any voltage at eh ignition switch wire so i am thinkin that i will jsut run a push button start and a toggle switch to cut off the ignition to get it to run
