I tried to post these earlier today, but ended up with a big fat fail. The drivers of those old trucks are what country music songs are made from. These had it rough. The pictures are cool as hell. I just wish they were in color.

very nice.
anybody else notice that for the most part the rig matches whatever make is on the trailer?
i especially like the Studebakers.
77 Chevy K20 - 80 GMC K2500 (in pieces)
90 Chevy K3500 - 93 Chevy C2500 (in pieces) - 94 Chevy K1500
Those are awesome. I wonder if any of those survived anywhere? It would be cool for someone to find one of those and restore it.
Did anyone look at the trailers. They just look better than the ones you see on the road today. I know the modern ones carry more vehicles. Look at the ones carrying the Buicks & the Oldsmobiles. Also the last pic.
1936 Studebaker J for sale

Ilove how those old trucks have such tall, bull-nosed front ends.

Some of those early 1900 trucks didn't even have side windows. In the next to last post on the top right is a truck with no side windows & snow chains on the rear truck tires. The tires on the trailer were solid rubber.

No sleepers with queen sized beds, microwave, refrigerator, TV, or DVD player for those guys.
