Its coming from the two bolts in the cowl (maybe three) that seem to disappear into the firewall, Is there supposed to be a diamond shaped rubber gasket that goes there, they are both leaking at each coner. I am punning in new padding and a mat and wat it to be water tight and this is a new leak for me. Its not the windshield I know that, its where the cowl bolts up and do I have to remove the dashpad?
Thanks

I think the cowl is ok, the truck was restored last year so I don't think its rusted out but I am going to check it out tomorrow, It should be easy with my glove box removed.
Wlll update and thanks for the reply

Ok, the heater box has a big crack around it so I sealed that up and no water but there is some on my drivers side too!
Help?

Its your heater core,it sits right behind the glove box...had the same problem..and replaced it and its all better..
How are you sure the windshield seal is good? These trucks are bad for it. Water will leak in come down the firewall and get the floor wet. Mine used to do it. May sound gross, but taste it. If it's sweet, you've got anti-freeze on the passenger side, but it's definantly water coming in somewhere on the drivers.
Most people don't. Everyone SHOULD know what it tastes like but hardly anyone does. Your gonna get a message to resize your sig soon, so you might as well do it now.
heater cores are notorious for leaking on these trucks. My 74 77 84 and 91 K5's all drenched the carpet on the passenger side and rusted everything to hell.
