I have a question: What are the two small tubes that come off of the left side (when looking into the engine) of the radiator? One is near the top, and the other is near the bottom, and they both go to near where the oil pan is ..? (I could be way wrong, and it might not be the oil pan lol, not to familar with all the parts yet). The tubes are small, like the diameter of a pencil. I have a drip coming off of them, that I just noticed, and it wasn't dripping last week when I replaced my dripping PS hose. Its a good drip, since I had a spot the size of a silver dollar just walking into Frys, and again leaving a restuarant.

Thanks again guys for your help. God bless.

    Oil/Transmission cooler lines.
There is a heat exchanger in the passenger side radiator tank for the trans, and another one in the driver side tank for engine oil.
The lines connect to an adapter above the oil filter for the engine oil cooler (your truck may or may not be equipped).
The other side, the lines connect to the trans. EVERY automatic-transmission vehicle is equipped with this.

To install an aux trans cooler, you intercept the line returning to the trans from the radiator tank.

Oil cooler lines. They leak all the time.

After replacing the O rings in mine a few times I deleted them. I don't tow or anything so it's not a big deal.

Left side when looking at the engine.... "small" tubes.

That's why I described both of them.

And I agree... there are better options for engine oil cooling than GM's answer.

The oil cooler leaks and is commonly deleted, yes, which your 77 more than likely does not have. DO NOT delete the transmission cooler, unless you like replacing transmissions.

    Hey guys,

Thanks for all the responses. The liquid does look like oil, but I thought that the power steering fluid dripping was oil too ha. Just replacing those lines, would solve the problem??

If I don't have an aux trans cooler, is it an expensive add on? I thought the camper specials came with one, but I guess its just like the camper plug ins, it would have to had been ordered by the original owner.

Thanks again guys for your help on this.

Well, i had it checked out, and it wasn't the lines like I thought. I have a valve cover gasket leak, and its just dripping down to the cooler lines, so thats is going to be taken care of today. But, while I was there they checked my radiator and the bottom two rows were rotted! So that was a hard swift kick in the junk, and more money than i was planning on dropping, but oh well. I guess my springfield m1a rifle will have to wait... I guess this is the joys of owning a 34 year old pickup haha.
