Oil/Transmission cooler lines.
There is a heat exchanger in the passenger side radiator tank for the trans, and another one in the driver side tank for engine oil.
The lines connect to an adapter above the oil filter for the engine oil cooler (your truck may or may not be equipped).
The other side, the lines connect to the trans. EVERY automatic-transmission vehicle is equipped with this.
To install an aux trans cooler, you intercept the line returning to the trans from the radiator tank.

). The tubes are small, like the diameter of a pencil. I have a drip coming off of them, that I just noticed, and it wasn't dripping last week when I replaced my dripping PS hose.
Its a good drip, since I had a spot the size of a silver dollar just walking into Frys, and again leaving a restuarant.

So that was a hard swift kick in the junk,
and more money than i was planning on dropping, but oh well. I guess my springfield m1a rifle will have to wait... I guess this is the joys of owning a 34 year old pickup haha.
