Hi, I have a 77 camperspecial. It has the swing out camper mirrors, and the thing that is bothering me to no end, is If I get to 50 mph, the wind moves the driver side , and if they are extended, then they both blow all to hell even going 30 mph. I have to drive with my finger on the mirror, keeping it where I want it. I have tried to tighten the bolt underneath, and it isn't doing much. Is there something I a missing?
Does it maybe need new washers? Thanks for the advice guys.
Matt

thank you for the reply. Plastic sleeve, nah, Its all metal on mine.
don't know if you fixed them yet but you might try taking a wooden skewer and shove a couple of then in pivot point break of cut them off so it doesn't show then wet them to swell or toothpicks (round) if gap is small worth a try i bet its aggravating
tahoe, thanks for the reply. No i haven't fixed the problem yet. I tightened it more, and it helped a little, but not solved. I'll keep your advice in mind, sounds like a good idea. Yes, its very aggravating. It was crazy annoying on the 4 hour road trip I was on. That was a long drive with my finger on the mirror Thanks again for your advice!
