That's aluminum oxidation you got going on there. There is no wonder product for fixing that. If you like the look of that rim but have been thinking about changing the color or painting them, having them sandblasted and then either painted or powder coated is the fix. But then, the cost of that in my opinion exceeds what a nice, modern after market wheel would cost so I'd just live with it until you are ready to replace those wheels or turn them into you "winter duty" set of wheels/tires.

for your aluminum rims i would just get some aircraft stripper, make sure you get the stuff in a can not the spray on stuff as it is much weaker, it can be found at parts stores but there is usually a better selection of it at stores like menards, lowes, and home depot back in there paint section. all you need to do is apply it to your rims and let it sit for about 20-30 mins then hose and wipe off the clear coat on the rims you may need to apply a second coat to get any extra clear off of the rims, once its all be stipped off get a mothers power ball and some mothers mag and aluminum polish from a parts store and polish out the wheels using the powerball and a drill i did this to my escalade wheels that i picked up cheap due to the clear coat peeling and now they look great, better than new imo.
Looks like that stuff works pretty good.
Dang! Gonna have to get me some of that stuff. Did it eat the skin off of your hands?
ive always used mud to get rust off of things. butt nice work looks good

I work at an automotive paint supply store and we carry Aircraft stripper there so that would be a good place to look too. That stuff works wonders for stripping finishes.
I don't know if I've never paid attention or I've just never seen it. Does oreillys or naps carry it
...I will have to try that!
