looks like a random orbital sander to me?? or a grinder lol. i already have both. could i just use these tools with attachments? the grinder thing would scare me a little cuz its super high rpms but the orbital sander wont even take paint off the walls in the house so...
well whats teh difference between all these auto detailing power tools and a regular one? nothing lol?
spose doin it by hand is more rewarding anyway

Ya, the Porter Cable is a standard polishing/buffing tool, and it will do sanding as well as buffing, but it's always run on the lower speeds.
An angle grinder spins WAY too high.

well i just gave the new girl her first wash and noticed a lot of little chips already on the rear panels behind the tires. theres some of that clear tape on some parts but not there. was wondering if i you can get that stuff anywhere? or if i should maybe put on molded guards or mud flaps?? those stock 20" rims and tires like to throw stuff everywhere.
also, i just tried installing those small chrome fender flares around the wheel wells without screws...using the clips. nothing lines up very well or there is nowhere to clip to as parts of the wheel well are solid. what a rip off...i want get somethin to protect the lip from rock chips but the big bushguards are too expensive and look weird unless you have a really wide tire setup....should i just say **** it and screw em in??
heres a pic of her whole just to show :)
and heres a chip and the tape stuff im talking about before the rear tire
and heres a chip and some more of that tape after the rear wheel
I want to cry 43,000$ and chips ahoy lol
it's a truck, your going to get chips lol. it's not the wheels kicking up the rocks they have nothing to do with it it's the tires. try having 35x12.5" tires and see the chips you get. as for chrome liners PLEEEEEEEEASE dont, extra chrome accenting usually looks HIDEOUS. go black or get fender fares.
I know right? i dont like them but i have bad anxiety sometimes lol. is there anything at all i can do to protect them a little like a good wax fairly often or something? i really dont like fender flares either...not on the nnbs
i wish i had of gotten the truck with the 18" wheels and smaller tires heh.
does anyone know what metal these rims are as well? i bought some cleaner/protectant that was good for all metal wheels cuz i wasn't sure... cant remember the brand....blue something. also, what do you guys use on stainless exhaust tips?
