No, it doesn't snap on...some minor fender sectioning is needed. Do a search for "escalade clip" and all the info you need is easily found.

hey i went out and searched but i found nothing on 04 trucks.

basically what i wanna know is this, would an esky clip look best on a 04 silverado cause its similar lookin? and also are these the only parts that need changing?

    2 headlights , grille , hood?

and how much would something like this cost?

    Re: escalade clip

your fenders will need to be modified as well. the bottom of your stock fenders will be cut and grafted onto the lower section of the escalade fenders. front bumper will be converted. wiring will be spliced into.

the escalade clip for the 99+ model trucks are around $2000 bucks i think. then painting and installing you're looking maybe around 3000 i'd guess

This is a 99-05 NBS truck that has a 01+ NBS Escalade clip on it. NBS means new body style truck....the new truck platform came out in 1999.

This is a OBS truck (old body style that was run from 1988-1998 with some models rolling into 1999 and 2000). This is my OBS 2000 dually with a 1999/2000 OBS Escalade clip.

The blue truck has the clip you would want for a 1999+ NBS truck. You need the hood, lights, entire front nose, and a variety of bumper brackets.

case in point the 88-98 Old body style trucks use the 99-00 escalade clip

the 99-present use the 01-present caddy clip

    Re: escalade clip

and also would a escalade clip look best on the most recent version of the silverado 04-05 ( i think )because the front is already made like the esky? and be easiler to install?

also how did that guy clear out the esky lights , is that just an aftermarket part or did he get stock esky lights and cleared them?

and when buying a esky clip are there specially made ones for truck conversions? or can i just go to a junkyard and find each piece seperate , take them to a body shop and have them install it?

The clip will look the same on a 03-05 truck as it will on a 99-02 truck. It's a simple install if you're good with tools, the only hard part is doing to the body work to make the fenders line up. Its cheaper to just order the kit from stylinconcepts, than it is to go to a junk yard and try to buy the parts. I posted a list of all the parts and part numbers on here a while back. You could try to piece it all together but its going to cost almost the same as just buying the kit. and to clear out the lights you just have to warm up the glue on the lights an remove the lense then seal it back up, Im thinking about doing this to mine.

    Re: escalade clip

Interiors are pretty much identical. The 99-02's have a different cluster than the 03+'s and they are NOT interchangeable.

The 99-02 and 03+'s have different hoods, headlights, f+ront girll, bumper, tail lights, and fenders. I don't have part numbers handy...

I tried searching the forum but can't find it. Might be one of the posts that got lost or something. When i get home from work tomorrow, I'll post up all the part #'s for the NBS clip.

Huh? You mean upgrade to a 01+ clip? Nah...I don't think they look right. The pic of my truck is how it was....it's in the body shop for a ton of work...should be done soon and it's silver now...no more white
