I have a 88 chevy 1500 with no bumpers. I want to make my own using 2 inch bar. Its only going to cost about 250. Thats making front and rear bumpers, a set of side steps, and a roll bar. (not including paint)
Has anyone here done this??
If there is not already a How-To I will attempt to write one with pics.
Currently my plans include a winch mount, 2 D-rings in front and back, and a 2 inch reciever.

Normally you would use a hydraulic power pipe bender.
I'm going to try and make it more aggresive looking, only cuts and welds.
my friend made a bumper for his 88 s10 with 4" steel tube, but it was just strait across and used to mow stuff down
