    has any one tried puttin hid in a set of halo headlights i have a 98 tahoe and was wonderin if it will mess anything up and does hids burn hotter or cooler than halogens

    I got HIDs in my halos. Had them in there for 2 years and never had a problem.

    They burn cooler...

    Not trying to be an ass but theres like 4 or 5 Threads on the first 2 pages regarding HID's and Projectors...

    I know they run cooler, but I have always wanted to know why people say they melted their halo-rings after installing the xenons...

    yah they have treads about hids and projectors but not hids and halos they are totaly different

    Whats the difference? "Halos" are just The Same projector lights with rings around them... Or am I missing something?

    i think on the nbs it has both but on the obs you can either get just halos or just projectors you cant get both which really sucks
