scratch repair

i got a pretty good scratch on the backside of my 07 nbs silverado sideview mirror.

it is on the top half of the mirror that is painted the same color as the truck. can that piece just be replaced - looks kinda like it might just be a skin on the mirror body - or do i need to take it to a body shop to fix such a small area?

you will def need to repaint the entire vehicle :)

Ya. I think that's what he means.I think you can get just that piece.I think they even come painted from the factory.I might be confusing it with another mirror,but, call your local dealer and ask them.

yeah it is just the top half of the back of the mirror. i'll post a pic tonight.
