Well I have the Boyd Coddington 22's that came with my truck but because they're rare I don't want them on there because I do drive the truck every day and can't risk anything happening to them for the simple fact that I'd never forgive myself whether it be my fault or someone elses. So basically put am looking to get either another set of 22's or possibly even get some 24's just as a new set of wheels to drive on every day. Was actually looking to do black wheels because I just got the tint on, rollpan coming, and tinted tails down the road, I think the all black look would workout good. What do you guys think I should do? Stick with 22's and run a smaller tire or maybe even the same size or step it up a bit with the 24's? Any wheels of preference throw them out there.

black 22's would look nice. never a fan of 24's though, not enough tire sidewall IMO for a DD.

Either or. theres the one dude with the Red NNBS on GMFS with black and chrome 24's and it looks AWESOME. I say you get 24's, with black spokes and a chrome lip. Like these, Lorenzo WL11. My Favorite wheel, I want them for my truck when I get the money...

and see on your truck, with the 22's, it looks like the size of 20's on a 99-06 NBS truck. they made the new fenders goofy, and anything smaller then 22's looks funny. I say go big, make it look good, 24's FTMFW!!!

and either all black, or black with a chrome lip.

Well it's a tough choice because like Stonebreaker said I want to still pay my respects with the truck to him. The idea I'm leaning toward as of earlier today is maybe get a set of 22" Boyd Coddington Slayers (my all-time favorite wheel on a lowered/bagged truck). I don't want someone looking at my truck up close and saying why is it a Boyd Coddington edition and doesn't even have Boyd wheels? What do you guys think of rollin the slayers?

Here's a pic of them so you can reference to what the Slayers look like, if anyone wants to photoshop them onto my truck and post up the pic I'd love to see it:

I def agree with rollin Coddington wheels. I personally really like the ones on the truck now, but if your gonna do different ones do Coddington wheels. As for black or chrome I'm always a fan of black on black, but not with the style you posted above. I think keep em chrome if you do that.
Possibly black chrome, not sure how it would look on your truck but I have seen it look good, just throwin that out there.

Roll the wheels you have now!!! What are going to do with them throw them in the garage and forget about them. Boyd Coddington designed those wheels to be used not stored!! Think of them as a tribute.

Touche salesman. Also thinking even if I was going to take them off, all truck guys know they don't have anymore room in their garage for another set of wheels or old air intake, I just didn't think that part of it through. I can't even get rid of the stuff I have now thats taken up room that I don't need let alone add a set of nice tires and wheels that are just gonna collect dust. I'm just gonna stick with the Boyds I've got then unless someone wants to contribute a free set of 22's or 24's

Exactly my point haha I have parts for vehicles I don't even own anymore and they just start collecting taking up space! It's a bad habit but wouldn't trade if for the world

I personally love them. As you said no one really has them so it helps to set them apart and I personally like the wide space between the spokes, I just need to get some badass rotors behind them I can take some close ups and get them up here for you.
