94-02 Dodge flip out mirrors bolt right on, as well as 03-07classic Chevys.

    Re: Towing Mirrors for OBS??

Any other pictures of the dodge mirrors?
I thinking about trying a set of towing mirrors on my truck, but I can't decide between those or the ones that came on early NBS trucks.

Or I may just get a set of OEM power mirrors.

Anybody got an opinion one way or the other?

I don't have anymore pics of the dodge mirrors, if I find some I'll post them up. IMO the Dodge ones look better than the Chevy's.

Those will work too if they're from a 99-06 truck

Bigwhite: I am assuming yours are manual? If they are not, how did you wire up the electric and or heated options?

    Re: Towing Mirrors for OBS??

I still have the factory obs mirrors. I just know that these fit. For the power heated mirrors you could get a power mirror switch from a newer truck and wire them to it, and put the heat on an on/off switch. If you use the dodge mirrors you don't have to worry about it. The 2nd gen (94-02) mirrors are manual w/ no heat unless you get 3rd gen (03-08) mirrors and put them on 2nd gen bases. The 3rd gen dodge mirrors use a different base that doesn't bolt up to the obs chevy.

I noticed you have a newer obs if you have power mirrors you could just match up the wires then all you'd have to do is wire a switch for the heat.

    Re: Towing Mirrors for OBS??

I tried bolting on some 99-02 mirrors on my 95 and the bolt pattern was different. There would have had to be some trimming on the plastic on the mirror also and it didn't look like it would seal very good either. Also look at how high the triangle piece goes. If you don't have those vent visors there would be a huge gap.
You can make them work, but definitely not just a bolt on deal.

    Re: Towing Mirrors for OBS??

Here are some I took today of the CIPA mirrors. They are complete bolt on, correct angles, as well as plug & play. Mine replaced the heated & power options. The only thing not it didn't replace was the auto dim feature.
