I know, its Spring... but I need to get tires for my stock rims for winter. I run 37" Mickeys now . I would like to get a 35 " tire so the truck doesn't look stupid and that perform excellently cause I live in Central NY.

I would absolutely get a tire with sipping. I have your typical mud terrain tires (studded) and on icy roads at any speed (like 80-110 km/h) they SUCK A$$. I am all over the road. They are ONLY good for slow speeds and deep snow. Before anyone comments remember it dips to -30 here in mid winter and the tires turn hard unless they are a true winter tire compound. NY gets pretty cold also I believe. So like said a BFG AT (which I had and wasn't crazy over one winter) or a toyo MT or cooper STT should be decent. I wish they made a true snow tire in sizes over 265's!

Hey eskimo, Yeah I live in Marathon... I ran the stock 245's last year cause I got them when I bought the truck. I got more dirty looks cause they looked so stupid on that big of a truck. Girlscouts to Grandma's looked at me funny! Lol ! So I sold 'em. Thanks for the response . See ya around!

I love my goodyear duratracs. You should look into those. They are awesome in the snow and I went through hell and back with them and never got stuck. There like a bfg a/t but a little more aggresive with a nice sidewall!
