265/75/15 or 31x10.50x15 would probably be about it, both almost 31" tall and fit a rim width range of 7" to 9"

Suburbans sit lower in the back than pickups (more level, instead of raked) and bob around more due to the weight, so you have to be a little bit more conservative with large tires.

awesome. i was wondering if 31/10.5/15 would fit or not. I know 30/9.50/15 fit fine, but aren't wide enough

31x10.50 will fit, depending of offset. They fit just fine on my brother's 94 C1500 p/up with room to spare.

There is a guy on here that has 33x10.50's on a stock C1500 p/up with no rub, but that would need stock wheels.

31x10.50x15 on a stock 2WD 1500 truck w/stock wheels - rear of the Suburban will be lower, but the front is typically where you would have trouble so I figured this pic would help:

do you think having the MT classic II's would help some, being as they are like a -30 offset and will make the tire stick out more?

I plan on getting a 3" body lift as well, just not sure when. I need to find a place around me that can do it.

Doesn't mean much without us knowign the width of the rim.

What do you mean by "help some". Sticking the rims further out than stock will cause rub issues, not aid them.

Why? You don't need to. 31's will look small then.

15x8 is the size of the rim.

So you are looking at ~3" backspacing. They'll stick out plenty...

The guy at the 4wd shop said i can get a 4" suspension lift, but I would only be able to fit 31x10.50x15 maybe a 32, depending on the wheels I use.

Sounds like time to ditch the 2WD burb and get the 4WD you really want.

The guy at the 4wd drive shop wants to sell you a 4" suspension lift.

Use a 15x8 or a 15x7, keep your backspacing near stock, maybe a little less (less = more tire sticking out) and you can fit your 31x10.50's.

With 4" lift, I would be 33x10.50's would clear easily, since as I already mentioned, it's been done on a p/up at stock height.

Sounds good. That is for a 2wd correct. i know 4wd sits higher. just making sure we are on the same page. I told him I wanted to lift it. He said it is a rough country lift. new spindles and then a block or something in the rear. I just want my burban to look a little more beefy, nothing to extremely high and all. kinda like how the one on the left side of your signature sits. I was wanting to fit maybe 33's. Just trying to get the best look for the money.

Those are only 32x11.50's on the OBS in my sig. That was 4x4, but only had 1.5" of lift.

Plenty, but that is the easiet of measurements you need to consider. Backspacing of your chosen wheel will dictate what fits and what doesn't.
