1990 cheyene wt grill to pre 94 silverado grill

Okay i have searched on this subject....I have a 90 cheyene with the ugly single headlight worktruck grill and want to convert it to a pre 94 silverado grill. I have read many things on the conversion to a 94 and up and that is not want I want to do. Im probably going to get this kit. http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/...ock-Headlights. That should give me everything but bulb and bulbs right?

Yep, plus the grille emblem. I got my grille at the wrecking yard, along with the corner lenses and light plugs. I bought my headlights and parking lights from a guy here local that had them on craigslist. Was a lot cheaper, plus I got an OEM grille.

That is a Sport. The WT grille is a little different. But, yeah, the composite headlights look better, and have better light output, than the sealed beams.

Is there any problem with converting from the dual headlight grill to the W/T grill? I really like the W/T grill and would prefer it in grey. Just got my 90 K2500 and was wishing I could find a grill.

Change to sealed beams headlights. Get the stuff to do that. Plus the parking lights and corner lens. Too bad you are not local, I have the stuff in my garage to do it.

Changed my mind. I want a grill like big mac's grill.....What is that called? My current grill is like part # 39-4051 in lmc. I want to get that and color match it to my truck.

I agree with Chris. Junkyard or craigslist people will definetly be a better deal. And if your corner lights and blinkers are showing the age be like me and clean them up a bit and put a black tint on them or whatever color paint you want and go with some aftermarket headlights. But I would like to point out that this does not come with attaching hardware...IDK if you seen it or not but just making sure cuz that can be very important...

The reason I'm replacing the grill is because a stick popped up and smashed the passenger side of my grille. The corner reflector and turn signal lens got smashed. I just removed my winch and brushguard today to get to everything. I'm probably going to find an old reflector from a junk yard and spray plaint it black. I ordered some sylvania true blue headlights today. I was going to do a silverado grill but I kinda relized I like the old square headlights. I do want to get a sport grill and get it colormatched maroon though.
