C1500 6ft bed to 6ft dually bed? OBS

So my bed was trashed and i scrapped it and go the idea since i will be bagging the truck and everything that i would like to get the look of a bagged dually not a full convert or anything just bed and run wider wheels/tires in the back.

Wondering if it is basically just finding a dually bed and bolting it on or is there more to it then that ive been looking around seems pictures of some but only little info on doing it.

so that my basic question will a 6ft dually bed fit on my frame and will stuff line up as in gas tank door and all?

i beleive they are the same. osmeone correct me if im wrong but.. all the frames were the same from gen to get. meaning 88-98 2wd frames were all the same. 88-98 4wd frames were all the same.
to be 100% sure i would take measurments of the bed underneath. i would measure mount to mount. cab to bumper. width. and if they line up then you are good.
ive heard/not seen a few guys say there trucks used to be singles then they make them duallys. but they could have just done replacement fenders dually's and added them to there trucks and added the dually kit fo the rear.
i say go for it man. then post pictures of everything you do so we all learn something.

Dually bed will bolt right on to your truck, no modifications, as long as it comes off the same body style truck.

Now, IIRC the 6' dually bed didn't hit the market until 96(? as a guess) and went as far as 00(IIRC) on GMT400s.
