    Never tried it but its just going over the problem but not fixing it.

    I just finished installing a drivers side on my 89.

    It was 25 bucks for the rocker cover panel and 100 bucks for the full rocker.

    But, I used it as a patch panel and not a cover as my rocker was only rotted ou tin the middle.

    IE:

    Cut out rusted section, weld in new piece.

    If you just tack it over a rusted rocker panel, it's only going to go to crap in a year or so anyways.

    Fix it right, fix it once....

    look for the full rocker and weld it in. The one's in the link look like bare steel too, full rocker should be e-coated.
